Leah Collins advises and counsels on commercial real estate transactions throughout California and the United States, with a particular focus on acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and financing of a variety of property types, including office, retail, hospitality, luxury resort, mixed-use projects, multi-family and undeveloped land. She has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of easements, licenses, covenants and other agreements, and counsels clients on the real estate-related aspects of business transactions, such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.
Leah represents a broad range of clients, including real estate investment firms, retail investors, developers and high-net-worth individuals. In 2017, she closed the acquisition of a 15-story office tower whose sale price per square foot was the largest recorded for high-rise office towers in San Diego County.
Prior to joining Coblentz, Leah was an associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
Leah received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. She was a member of the Law and Business Society and Director of the Honors Moot Court. She earned her B.A. in political science from the University of California at Davis.
