Skye’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation in state and federal court, where she represents individuals and business of all sizes in arbitrations, mediations, government investigations, and class actions, as well as pre-litigation disputes. She has experience in all phases of litigation from initial fact discovery through trial and appeal, and has represented plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving contracts, corporate governance, call recording and wiretapping, trademarks, the False Claims Act, the California Environmental Quality Act, and the California Labor Code.
Skye also has an active pro bono practice. She frequently represents low-income San Francisco residents fighting eviction, and has helped individuals clean up their criminal records, recover legal judgments, obtain conservatorships, and challenge the constitutionality of provisions of the California Penal Code.
Prior to joining the firm, Skye was a litigation associate at Jones Day in Palo Alto and a high school teacher and Cross Country coach in Fremont, California.
- Represented health care company in suit alleging fraud on the court and RICO violations. Achieved dismissal at pleading stage, and obtained Ninth Circuit affirmance of dismissal.
- Persuaded plaintiff in personal injury suit against investment fund to dismiss all claims prior to the filing of any responsive pleadings.

Skye is a member of the State Bar of California and the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Northern District of California.
Skye graduated magna cum laude from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Jeffrey White in the Northern District of California and interned at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in San Francisco. She was also a member of Hastings’ award-winning moot court team.
Skye earned her B.A. in Philosophy, with honors, from Grinnell College in Iowa.
