Kit Driscoll focuses her practice on estate planning and trust administration.
Prior to joining Coblentz, Kit was a member of the Business Valuation Team at Andersen Tax, where she valued derivatives and debt instruments, intangible assets, carried interests in private equity funds, closely held businesses, and other unique assets. Her valuation experience spanned a wide array of industries and was performed for a variety of purposes including estate and gift tax reporting and financial reporting in connection with mergers and acquisitions.
Kit was a summer law clerk at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, where she worked on various litigation matters as part of the financial fraud team. She also externed at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Enforcement Division.
Kit earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law as a night student while working on Andersen Tax’s Business Valuation Team. While earning her law degree, Kit was also a research assistant to Professor Garvey, a McAuliffe Society member, and a senior staffer on the University of San Francisco Law Review. She earned her B.S. in Management Science with a Minor in Accounting at the University of California, San Diego.
