Foram Dave represents business clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, business torts and tort liability actions, misappropriation of trade secret claims, and intellectual property litigation. She strives to stay ahead of new and rapidly emerging technologies that present constantly evolving challenges to protecting her clients’ intellectual property, and ensures that clients are aware of potential challenges they may face to safeguard them against potential adverse impacts.
Foram has represented clients in the software and technology, solar energy, printing, and beverage and alcohol industries. She is involved in all phases of case management, including drafting motions and pre-trial documents, conducting and defending depositions, conducting discovery, and developing case strategy, including evaluating procedural issues such as venue and jurisdiction that can provide significant early advantages.
Prior to joining Coblentz, Foram was an associate in the litigation group at Nixon Peabody LLP.
Foram earned her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she graduated cum laude. While at Hastings, she was Notes Editor of the Communications & Entertainment Law Journal and Staff Editor of the Hastings Business Law Journal. Foram earned her B.A. in biology, cum laude, from Pennsylvania State University.
