Eric represents developers, companies, and investors in a wide range of real estate transactions, with a particular focus on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, and construction, including the negotiation of design and construction contracts. Eric represents clients at all stages of the development life cycle – from project inception through completion – for a diverse range of property types, including commercial, residential, mixed-use, industrial, and institutional projects across the United States.
Eric is a civil engineer and brings real-world experience to his practice from his time at one of California’s largest general contractors, where he managed project design development (from conceptual design to final construction documents), estimating, value engineering, procurement, contracting, BIM coordination, and construction administration. Eric also has substantial experience representing developers in high stakes litigation involving construction and real estate. Eric utilizes this expertise to counsel developers in all phases of construction.
Eric also advises technology companies and startups in the areas of real estate and construction technology.
Prior to joining Coblentz, Eric was an associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.
Eric earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Nevada, Reno.
