Andrew Schalkwyk focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters. He counsels clients in various businesses, including in the telecom, tech, entertainment, and financial services industries. He also represents clients in white collar criminal investigations, and is a member of the firm's White Collar Defense and Government Enforcement group.
Prior to joining Coblentz, Andrew worked in the Palo Alto office of WilmerHale. He clerked for Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald of the Central District of California.
Andrew is a member of the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice before the Northern District of California and the Central District of California.
Andrew earned his J.D. from Yale Law School. He earned his A.B. in History from Harvard College. While in law school, Andrew worked with the Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic representing homeowners in foreclosure procedures in Connecticut state court and served as an editor of the Yale Journal on Regulation.
