Alice H. Wang


Alice practices complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts. Her clients have included insurance companies, financial institutions, building products manufacturers, and individuals. She has experience in all phases of litigation, and has assisted clients with matters relating to employment, intellectual property claims, breach of contract claims and unfair and deceptive business practices.

Prior to joining the firm, Alice worked as a litigation associate with the law firm Pierce Atwood LLP in Boston, where she focused on class action defense. Alice also worked in the Finance Practice of Charles River Associates in Boston, where she assisted economic and damages experts in government investigations of antitrust and securities fraud-related litigation matters.

Notable Representations

Represented group life insurance company in damages phase of ERISA class action and later helped win the case on appeal in the First Circuit.

Represented building products company in consumer breach of warranty and product defect class actions.

Honors & Awards

Alice was named to the Lawyers of Color "2014 Hot List," which recognizes early-to-mid-career minority attorneys based on noteworthy accomplishments and involvement in professional programs and initiatives.

Professional Activities

Alice is a member of the State Bar of California and Massachusetts. She is also a member of the Boston Bar Association and Bar Association of San Francisco.


Alice earned her B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College, her M.A. in Economics from Boston University, and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Alice received the CALI Excellence for the Future and Witkin Top Student awards in Trial Advocacy and Legal Writing & Research. She also served as a judicial extern in the pro se department for the Northern District of California.
