Finding Us in the Ferry Building:

The Ferry Building is located on The Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street. The building has three floors: a street level marketplace with many shops and two floors of offices. Our reception area is on the second floor. You may either use the center stairs from the street side or the elevator to get to the second floor.

The stairs are located just to the right (South) of the (clock tower) center of the building. When you reach the top of the stairs, proceed North (left) but first stop at the guard station directly in front of you to sign in. If you prefer to take the elevator, go to the Office Lobby which is located near the center of the building but to the left (North) of the main staircase and the doorway to the shops. There is a security guard located in the Office Lobby and you may sign in there.

Driving Directions to the San Francisco Office:

From the Bay Bridge

  • Take the Fremont Street exit after crossing the bridge, follow the right fork of the exit to Folsom Street.
  • Turn left on Folsom Street, then turn left onto The Embarcadero.
  • The Ferry Building is on your right, just past Mission Street.

From the Golden Gate Bridge

  • Take the Marina Blvd. exit, proceed on Marina Blvd. around the Safeway.
  • Turn left onto Bay Street for approximately 2 miles, then turn right onto The Embarcadero.
  • The Ferry Building is on your left.

From the South Bay

  • Take Hwy 101 towards the Bay Bridge (80), then take the Fourth Street exit ("last San Francisco exit"), stay right onto Bryant Street and stay in right lanes.
  • Turn left onto The Embarcadero.
  • The Ferry Building is on your right just past Mission Street.
  • You may also take Hwy 280 towards Downtown and take the Sixth Street exit.
  • Stay right on Brannan Street.
  • Turn left on The Embarcadero.
  • The Ferry Building is on your right just past Mission Street.

Parking Information:

  • Hourly parking is available at the lot across The Embarcadero from the Ferry Building at WASHINGTON STREET. HANDICAP PARKING (placard required) is always available at this lot.
  • Parking is available at EMBARCADERO FOUR (Clay and Drumm streets), within walking distance of the Ferry Building.
  • Parking is available at the GOLDEN GATEWAY GARAGE, located at 250 Clay Street between Davis and Front streets.
  • Parking is available at the 75 HOWARD STREET GARAGE, located on Howard street between Spear and Steuart streets.
  • There are also METERED PARKING SPACES around and within a few blocks of the Ferry Building, but these are often occupied.

  • Golden Gate Transit: Bus service from Marin and Sonoma Counties. Closest Office Station: San Francisco Transbay Terminal (First and Mission streets).
  • Golden Gate Ferry: From Larkspur and Sausalito to the Terminal behind the Ferry Building.
  • Tiburon Ferry: From Tiburon to the Ferry Building.
  • Alameda/Oakland Ferry: From Jack London Square and Alameda's Maine Street Terminal, to the Ferry Building and Pier 39.
