Partner Tay Via to Lead Panel Discussion on Opportunities in Public-Private Partnerships

Partner Tay Via will lead an engaging discussion on Public-Private Partnerships at CREW SF's October 2009 Program.

Public-Private Partnerships, also referred to as PPP or P3, offer the Private Sector opportunities to create long-term relationships with the Public Sector. The result is shared success and the ability to tackle projects that may be individually unattainable.

With a current economic focus on public projects, these partnership opportunities can provide the private sector with new possibilities towards generating meaningful projects, stimulating the economy and ultimately creating jobs.

This lunch presentation will provide varying perspectives on PPP from the Private Sector as well as federal and local city public sector points of view.

The panel discussion includes brief presentations that will highlight current and successfully completed local projects including Treasure Island as well as federal opportunities with GSA.

Panel members:

  • Kheay Loke of developer Wilson Meany Sullivan,
  • Amy Neches of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency
  • Matt Elawady, the Director of Real Estate for GSA
