Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass Partners Pamela Duffy and Harry O’Brien were recognized in the 2010 edition of Chambers USA, the annual guide published by prestigious legal ranking company, Chambers and Partners.Duffy and O’Brien were recognized as leaders in the real estate law category.

Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass was selected as the winner of the Corporate INTL Magazine Global Award as Corporate Tax Advisory Firm of the Year in California.

The Legal 500 USA

Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP has been honored in the Real Estate and Construction category of the 2009 edition of The Legal 500, an online international law firm referral source.  The firm was recognized as a leader in land use and zoning in the Northern California region.  Described as "first rate, right up there and loaded with talent," Coblentz was one of only eight Northern California firms recognized by The Legal 500 for outstanding performance in this area.  Partners Pamela Duffy and Harry O'Brien also received individual recognition.  Duffy was praised as being "great for land use work, focusing in particular on transactions for large private and public clients."  O'Brien, described as "very capable" and an "effective negotiator," was commended for providing "practical business advice" and "an immediate response to critical issues.

Law & Politics Media Inc. published its Northern California Super Lawyers 2010 list in which fourteen Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP partners were recognized.  Law & Politics Media Inc. performs the polling, research and selection of Super Lawyers in a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5% of the attorneys in Northern California are selected. Best Place to Work in the Bay Area

Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass LLP has been honored by the San Francisco Business Times as one of the 2009 Best Places to Work in the Bay Area.  This is the third year that the firm has been selected for the competitive list, which pays tribute to the top 100 companies with the highest levels of employee satisfaction. The San Francisco Business Times has been putting together the rankings annually since 2004. Well over 500 companies were nominated, and nearly 194,000 employees surveyed. The San Francisco Business Times uses only information that comes directly from employees to compile the list. In gathering the data, the newspaper asks employees of nominated companies to respond to an electronic survey in which they are asked questions intended to gauge how satisfied they are with their workplace's management practices, benefits, work culture, and overall compensation.
